About Finn
Finn is a fox with a backpack who appears on every page a child works through.
A child working alone on a page needs someone in the room. Finn is that someone. He explains the task in one short sentence, points at the thing that matters, and celebrates at the bottom of the page when it is done. He never talks down and he never fills space.
The workbooks are drawn, not assembled. Every scene, every animal and every letter shape was made for these pages. That is slower than buying stock illustrations, and it is the reason the six workbooks look like one thing rather than six.
Zoolero is a small operation, not a publishing house. Every workbook is built, printed, worked through and corrected before it goes on sale — and corrected again when a parent writes to say something is unclear.
