Inside the workbook
This is where numbers start doing something. Adding first to ten, then to twenty; taking away the same way, always with a picture beside the sum. Things that are taken away stay on the page with a line through them, because subtraction is an event, not a disappearance. Later come the missing number (7 + ? = 10), short number stories, and a set of puzzles. The answers for every page are in the back.
